From 17 June – 1 July I teached for the first time at the SOAK Sommerakademie at Vasilikos, Zakynthos, Greece.
The SOAK is founded by Wolfgang Löhnert from Austria and is located at the beach of the beautiful island of Zakynthos.

I named the course playing with watercolor. I wanted to break through the boundaries of the traditional watercolor and was very pleased that all the participants were open to this approach. One of the most revealing playing was tearing up their own watercolor into ‘Schnitzels’. 

SPIELENDES AQUARELL MIT WIM VONK
‘Aquarell bedeutet, mit Wasser zu spielen und zu malen. Dabei zuzusehen, wie sich Farbe und Wasser vermischen, wie das Spielen mit dem Meer und dem Sand am Strand. Wie ein Kind, das mit Wasser, Sand und Muscheln und allem, was es findet, spielt. Beobachten, wie ein Kind spielt und sich an das eigene Spiel in Kindertagen erinnern. Ein Kind beginnt zu spielen und sieht zu, was passiert. Es lässt sich von dem überraschen, was es entdeckt und was möglich ist. Damit spielt es dann weiter. Spielen mit Aquarell ist Spass!”
